HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT?
Stay away from offers like: “loose 10 kilo in one week”!!!
A lot of people with too much of ‘lovely fatty casts’ are trying to loose weight on their own. At the beginning there is motivation, they loose even 5 kilos in one week. Lots of exercise and little amount of food. After some time the body is trying to get what it wants and we feel terrible hunger, dizziness and overall weakness. As a result we become to crave, eat and then eat too much. We weight ourselves and… oh, we put on weight 7 kilos and have 2 kilos more than we had before we had begun a diet. Sounds familiar?
In Poland we tend to say, that ‘what is said to be a perfect solution to each problem it is in fact ineffective”. The same is with diets. “Copenhagen style diet” or “South islands diet” are not proper to everyone; age of a person, silhouette type, past diseases, this all should be taken into account. Loosing kilograms is half of the success; the next step is maintaining it. There are sayings like ‘haste makes waste’ and ‘patience is a virtue’, which you are probably familiar with.
Optimal pace of loosing weight is 1 kilo per one week. It seems very little, but slow weight loss teaches our organism both reasonable food accumulation and eating as well as weans it from overeating. Basic dietary mistake is skipping breakfasts, craving at work and eating abundant dinner-supper meals. This ‘menu combination’ will quickly result in surplus of calories visible on waist and hips.
- Amazingly effective is keeping a diary, where you write down eaten meals and drunken drinks. If you are on a diet, remember to drink at least 2 litres of liquids, including water, which do not have calories and purifies your organism.
- Fruits and vegetables are natural source of vitamins, which support diet and you should remember about this!
- You should cross out of your list: fried food, greasy cheeses and processed pork. You should not deprive yourself of this fat thoughtlessly. Milk 0% doesn’t contain any nutrients, but only chemical substances dangerous to women because of its properties harmful to hormonal system. Your doctor will surely inform you of the catches of light diet and we recommend no to underestimate such symptoms like bad mood or a sudden growth of fat tissue. Mentioned light products often contain sugar replaced with sweetener, but something in exchange for this, there is more of fat in them!
- Meals should be divided into 5 little portions, what helps your body to burn the supplied calories. Optimal break between the meals is 3-4 hours.
- Don’s throw your scales out of your house, even if you cannot look at its indicator! Thanks to successive measurements you will be able to observe how your body reacts to specified types of meals.
- Don’t give up, even if in spite of the sacrifices, your weight will not fall down even one gram. Organism that used to eat ‘what it wanted to’ defends itself against kilo- loss and this is the reason for this standstill. If you bear this you will surely see the effects!
- Enroll yourself in some exercises! If you are on a low-caloric diet, choose something easy, e.g. Pilates or Yoga. They won’t burden your organism but shall help you to shape your body and slim your silhouette.
- Eat light supper about 4 hours before going to bed.
- If you are hungry, crave for boiled vegetables, e.g. broccoli that contain a lot of cellulose. You are also allowed to eat countless amounts of watermelon and melon. If you want to cheat you appetite you can also brush your teeth with mint paste.
- Don’t hurry and don’t set yourself impossible goals. If you are horrified to loose 30kg, set yourself a few shorter terms, e.g. 1st stage - minus 5kg until the end of the next month. Using these little steps, you will finally achieve your goal.
Example menu 1200 kcal:
6.00 WAKE UP
- 6.30. 100 g of cottage light cheese, tomato, and graham roll.
- 9.30. apple flavoured with cinnamon.
- 1 p.m. 100 g steamed chicken breast, boiled vegetables: broccoli, carrot, beetroot, Brussels sprouts, free combination, up to 150 g.
- 4 p.m. glass of tomato juice, 1 slice of crisp bread
- 7 p.m. diet lecsó: 2 peppers, 1 tomato, ¼ of onion, cucurbit, and spices. Stew covered. You can also have one slice of crisp bread.
